Before taking donations with eGo Connect, you’ll need to properly configure your donation receipts. Donation receipts are sent immediately to each donor after a donation for proper record keeping.

After configuring your time zone and logo, you can then setup the text portions of your receipts in the Donor Receipts section in your account settings.

The Donor Receipts section contains several fields which must be filled in, including:

Personal Donor Message
If you would like to include a personal message to donors or organization slogan, you may do so here. This will appear below the transaction data.

Contact Information
You should include your contact information in the email which could include your organization name, address and phone number. This will appear below your personal donor message.

Goods & Services Statement
If there was no exchange of goods or services for the donations, you should include a statement here in accordance with IRS requirements.

Support Email Address
Specify an email address you would like donors to be able to reach by clicking the contact button on the email.
